1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Elite Trailer Rentals services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Rental Requirements
To rent a trailer from Elite Trailer Rentals, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Provide a major credit card for payment and security deposit
- Have adequate insurance coverage for your towing vehicle
- Have a vehicle capable of safely towing the rented trailer
3. Rental Period and Rates
Rental rates are calculated on a daily basis. Additional charges may apply for:
- Late returns (additional daily rate)
- Delivery and pickup services
- Excessive cleaning requirements
- Damage beyond normal wear and tear
- Lost or damaged equipment
4. Damage and Liability
The renter is responsible for any damage to the trailer during the rental period, regardless of fault. This includes damage from accidents, theft, vandalism, or acts of nature. Renters are encouraged to verify their insurance coverage and consider our optional damage protection plans.
5. Prohibited Uses
Trailers may not be used for:
- Transporting hazardous materials
- Commercial purposes without prior approval
- Racing or off-road activities
- Exceeding manufacturer weight limits
- Any illegal activities
6. Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to one day's rental rate.
7. Limitation of Liability
Elite Trailer Rentals' liability is limited to the rental fee paid. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our trailers.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
